Patios de Cafayate
Colonial architecture and fine wines
The wine hotel of El Esteco winery is a tribute to the most representative architecture of Salta.
Designed by the famous architect Mariano Sepúlveda, the establishment is located in what was once the original main house of the Michel Torino estate, surrounded by vineyards. Inner courtyards with recesses, tile roofs and wooden masonry in a deep green highlighting the white walls, all maintaining the ornamental line of local style.
It is located right at the junction of national routes 40 and 68, at the entrance to Cafayate.
We stayed in the suite on the top floor to enjoy the glorious sunrise among the hills.
The restaurant La Rosa offers signature cuisine prepared by local chefs and paired with the cellar's wines.
The garden surrounding the pool offers a great view of the Calchaquí Valleys.
During the stay, in addition to the obvious tour of the winery, you can take horseback rides through the estate, go for a bike ride, or simply taste its wines in any of its galleries.
