Los Pinos Resort & Spa Termal

The Argentine All Inclusive

In Río Hondo, this resort offers the well-known thermal waters of Santiago combining the all-inclusive system with very nice facilities and countless activities.

The city is located on a large mineralized hot spring, so its waters have restorative properties for health and relaxation.

The hotel has large gardens, Jacuzzi, solarium and huge thermal pools, one of them indoors for rainy days. It also offers a pool area exclusively for adults, which for @tripticity_ is always a plus.

It has a large sports area that includes tennis, soccer, paddle, bocce, shuffleboard and volleyball courts, as well as a fitness center and a large spa. For movie lovers, the billboard advertises current movies.

Upon arrival, we were assigned a modern room, Mediterranean category, renovated, and then enjoyed a snack at the afternoon tea, with great pastries.

Then we went to the spa, well designed, with a water circuit of sauna and Finnish baths and a refreshing pool with cooled thermal water.

Before dinner, we met the bartender Leo, who did not hesitate to prepare some delicious drinks for us.

In the main dining room, in the evenings buffet starters and main courses are served, changing night by night. The super varied desserts are also available in a sweet table buffet.

In the morning, we had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the gardens and then took advantage of the activities offered by the resort. We attended functional training, spinning and aquagym classes, and then relaxed in the adult pool.

Lunches are a la carte, with tasty and plentiful options. On Saturdays the traditional Argentine asado is served, and on Sundays the chivito.

In the afternoons, the pool bar invited us with popcorn, ice cream or panchuques, a kind of pancho santiagueño.

And so the March long weekend passed between excessive banquets, typical temptation of an all inclusive, activities, spa and lots of thermal water.

Before returning, we strolled around downtown Rio Hondo, the Libertad Shopping Mall and the Automobile Museum - Museo del Automóvil exhibits a large collection of historic and modern vehicles. It is located at the International Race Track of Termas de Río Hondo -Autódromo Internacional de Termas de Río Hondo venue of important motorcycling and car racing competitions, with the MotoGP as the main show.
