A mixture of art and Andean gastronomy

In Tilcara, Province of Jujuy, after touring the town, wandering through its cobblestone streets and visiting the market of regional products, nothing better than a gourmet lunch in the art space in front of the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary.

A cuisine that takes local products and revalues its typical dishes.

To start, tamales or humitas with goat cheese, continuing with llama loin, braised lamb or high altitude trout. When it comes to sweets, the protagonist is the suspiro limeño.

The delicacies are served in antique crockery. The colorful dining room is decorated with paintings of its owner and from it you can see how the master chef works her magic.

The marriage of culture and gastronomy proposed by El Nuevo Progreso is unmissable. The final surprise: the account masterfully sketched by the artist. A unique way of detailing everything consumed, without words but with drawings of the enjoyed dishes.
